Our Story
The Family Letters Co. was born from a simple but deeply held belief: meaningful words still matter.
In a world that moves fast and often feels noisy, we wanted to create something slower, more thoughtful
and more lasting — something that could arrive in the mailbox and feel like a breath of fresh air.
Something that could be opened, read, held onto and returned to again when the moment called for it.
We’re Eric and Bethany, the husband-and-wife team behind The Family Letters Co. Between us, we know
the beauty and complexity of family life firsthand. We know the weight that parents carry, the quiet
strength it takes to keep showing up and the many moments that go unseen by the outside world. As a
dad and stepmom in a blended family, we understand that the people at the heart of a home often give
so much of themselves to everyone around them.
That is what inspired this company.
We created The Family Letters Co. to offer encouragement in a more personal and meaningful way —
through beautifully written letters designed to speak life, strength and hope into the people who need
it most. These are not just pieces of mail. They are words meant to comfort, uplift and remind someone
that they are seen, valued and deeply loved.
Our first collection, The Mom Letters, was created for moms in every season — the joyful ones, the
exhausting ones, the uncertain ones and the sacred ordinary days in between. We believe moms deserve
to be poured into too. They deserve words that strengthen them, steady them and remind them that
what they do matters.
At the heart of this brand is a love for family, faith and connection. Many of our letters are shaped by
timeless encouragement, heartfelt truth and faith-woven wisdom meant to meet people right where
they are. Our hope is that each letter feels personal, sincere and worth keeping.
The Mom Letters is just the beginning. Our vision is to grow The Family Letters Co. into a full collection
of subscription letters for the people who matter most — including dads, stepmoms, stepdads, sisters
and brothers and so many more people who are important to us in this life — each one created with
the same care, warmth and intention.
More than anything, we hope these letters become something meaningful in the lives of the people
who receive them: a source of encouragement on hard days, a reminder of love in ordinary moments and a keepsake worth returning to again and again.
Thank you for being here at the beginning of this story. We’re so glad you found us.
